Gaming Realms, a leading provider of mobile-focused gaming content, has acquired a ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification from eCOGRA which will enable the company to enter into new regulated markets.
The international accreditation further outlines Gaming Realms’ commitment to information security standards and is used by many jurisdictions as a regulatory benchmark.
The certification is awarded when a set level of standards is reached following a rigorous inspection of privacy management systems and procedures, ensuring best practices in this discipline.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is a pre-requisite for entering markets in Greece and Switzerland and is also used by World Lottery Association (WLA) members to ensure privacy and data security standards are met.
Peter Russell, CTO at Gaming Realms, said: “This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to responsible data management and showcases how seriously our company takes protecting information.
“The team have worked incredibly hard to achieve this milestone and we are pleased to receive this stamp of approval that will allow us to enter into new markets with our partners knowing that our systems are fully compliant and secure.”
