January & February 2023 News Roundup

Gaming Realms is pleased to present a round-up of its activities during January and February 2023.

Gaming Realms has had a busy start to 2023, which kicked off with a stock market update to confirm the success achieved in 2022, with revenue and EBITDA growth of 27% and 36% respectively.

The team has had an exciting start to the year, attending industry events and charity dinners. They joined over 40,000 attendees at ICE London, where it was great to catch up with key partners and host a drinks event to celebrate the launch of Slingo Cleopatra. Gaming Realms also attended the Sky Betting and Gaming charity dinner, supporting the Cure for Dylan charity to help find a cure for Rett Syndrome.

Games

During January and February, Gaming Realms released two new games and secured further prominent partnerships to add to its strong Slingo portfolio.

Gaming Realms’ key release and collaboration during this period has been Slingo Cleopatra which has been distributed to the UK, MGA and various EU jurisdictions. First released in 2012, the original Cleopatra is still considered one of the most popular slot games online. Slingo has added new excitement to the classic game with its unique Slingo Ladder accumulation mechanic, meaning that more prizes are awarded for each step that players progress up the ladder. As well as new features, the game still has recognisable elements for fans of the game, including the ‘Crazy Reels’ feature from the original slot.

To celebrate the Luna New Year, Gaming Realms partnered exclusively with BetMGM in North America to release Slingo Golden Envelope. In the game, players must keep an eye out for the festive red envelopes which can release cash bonuses, additional picks, or multipliers. Slingo Golden Envelope will go live with the rest of our North American operators on the 15th March in New Jersey.

We are also delighted to share that Gaming Realms has secured brand licensing agreements for two internationally renowned games: Tetris and TAITO’s SPACE INVADERS. Both games have been enjoyed by players for decades, and the Company is excited to bring Tetris’ building blocks and SPACE INVADER’S pixelated invader characters to new audiences with Slingo’s unique gameplay later this year.

Operators and Market Expansion

Over the past two months, Gaming Realms has gone live with many large operators globally, allowing further expansion into multiple jurisdictions. In Europe, the Company has gone live with 888 and Casino Gran Madrid in Spain, Betflag in Italy, Carousel, 711.nl and Fair Play in the Netherlands and Betsson and MrGreen in Denmark. Over in North America, Gaming Realms has gone live with Unibet in Pennsylvania and in Michigan with 888 and Caesars. Finally, in Canada, the Company went live with IPRO.

The Company has also welcomed a new aggregation partner, Everymatrix, allowing Gaming Realms to launch in MGA markets. Integration is done after a year and the first operator from this aggregation is Lopoca, which operates in both MGA and UKGC.
